The Adventures of Pinocchio
The Adventures of Pinocchio, also known in Italian as Le avventure di Pinocchio: storia di un burattino, is a beloved children's book written by C. Collodi. It was first published in serial form in 1881 in the Giornale dei bambini ("Children's Magazine") and then as a book in 1883. Perhaps best remembered as the inspiration for the 1940 Disney feature, it depicts the tale of a young marionette who longs to be a real boy.
