The Mysterious Island

Jules Verne's The Mysterious Island was first released in 1874 as part of his best-selling science fiction series Voyages extraordinaires (1863-1910) and was originally published in French as L'Île mystérieuse. In The Mysterious Island, our heroes are a band of castaways who, with a little ingenuity and a lot of hard work, manage to establish a thriving society on an unexplored island.
