H. P. Lovecraft's The Dunwich Horror is a short horror story. It was written in 1928, and the April 1929 issue of Weird Tales (pp. 481-508) was where it was originally published. Dunwich is a made-up Massachusetts town where the action unfolds. It's one of the foundational tales of the Cthulhu Mythos.
