Agamemnon

Agamemnon, a king of Mycenae in Greek mythology, led the Greeks in the Trojan War. He was Clytemnestra's husband, the brother of Menelaus, the father of Iphigenia, Electra, Laodike, Orestes, and Chrysothemis, and the son (or grandson) of King Atreus and Queen Aerope. According to legend, he reigned over Mycenae or Argos, which are both believed to be names for the same region. Clytemnestra, or in an earlier version of the myth, Clytemnestra's lover Aegisthus, assassinated Agamemnon upon his return from Troy.
